New Skoda Fabia 2018: Engines and Performance
The model the 2018 Fabia is replacing is only available with a 1.4-litre TDI unit with three different tune settings which ranged from 74bhp to 104bhp. However following the current trend of diesel abuse, Skoda have made the decision to release the new 2018 Fabia with 1.0-litre three cylinder petrol engines only. Among these will be a naturally aspirated MPI engine that will have either 59bhp or 74bhp and also a new turbocharged TSI engine that produces 94bhp or 108bhp. Skoda also offer the most powerful engine of the range with an automatic seven-speed gearbox which you’ll find is a distinctive chip off the Volkswagen Group DSG block.
