We know that safety matters for our customers – especially when you are likely to be transporting precious familiar members in your car. You need to know that the car is putting the safety of passengers and pedestrians first, and doing everything possible to ensure that it’s safety rating is consistently high.

Skoda Karoq awarded Euro NCAP 5* Rating

The Euro NCAP system is the leading safety assessment, and rigorously tests vehicles in a wide range of scenarios. Having undergone this impressive and extensive testing, the Skoda Karoq was awarded Euro NCAP’s highest possible start safety rating – 5 stars.

This is an objective, evidence based score that reflects the extensive state-of-the-art safety equipment on-board the Karoq – giving you the peace of mind to know that the Karoq is one of the safest SUVs on the market today.

Skoda have achieved this impressive safety rating thanks to the extensive range of safety technology included in the Karoq model range.

Below are just some of the safety features you’ll find in the Skoda Karoq as standard:

Electronic Tyre Pressure Monitoring

If you’ve ever had a type blow out, this will reassure you – the tyre pressure system ensures you are always up to date on the type pressure, giving you advance warning if tyres need filling or replacing.

ESC with Multi-Collision Brake

ESC stands for Electronic Stability Control, and this clever system is designed to bring you to a halt of your air bag are deployed, minimising the chance of a pileup and aiming to prevent further damage to your vehicle.

XDS+, an advanced electronic differential lock function.

XDS+ is a clever feature that helps the driver during sharp turns and ensures that the vehicle behaves neutrally during dynamic cornering. This aims to increase vehicle traction and prefer the change of you sliding or struggling on bends and corners.

In addition, you can “spec up” your Skoda Karoq to include these even more advanced safety features: Blind Spot Detect, Rear Traffic Alert or Front Assist with Predictive Pedestrian Protection.
